Applied Nutrition Capstone
A systemic review conducted to determine the effects of vitamin K supplementation and its effect on calcification status in adults aged 50 years and older.
Vitamin B12 and Cognition
This project was a secondary research analysis of public datasets, the NHANES Survey data. Vitamin B12 serum results were compared with Animal Fluency cognitive test results in adults aged 60+ years old to determine if a relationship exists between B12 status and better cognition.
Migraines and Magnesium
Systemic review conducted to determine the effects of magnesium supplementation compared to traditional medications and the potential to reduce and/or eliminate the occurrence of chronic migraine in adults.
Making Friends with the Nutrition Facts Label
